Hi, I’m Jan Dale Carlo Catalonia, the CEO and Founder of Dilaab Digitals. My journey began with a simple goal — to earn enough to cover school expenses and bills.
Today, my mission has grown into something bigger: building a virtual assistance agency that empowers students, breadwinners, and passionate VAs across the Philippines who experience the same struggle I did before.

First Steps in Freelance Work
My first experience in freelance work began when I was still in school. To help cover academic expenses, I started writing articles and blogs in my spare time. These small jobs taught me valuable skills, and I quickly realized that with effort and dedication, freelancing could open new doors.
2020
The Global Pandemic
In 2020, the world changed—and so did I. When the pandemic hit, my family’s financial struggles deepened. I knew I needed to step up. That’s when I returned to freelancing, this time with a vision of building something greater.

From VA to Digital Marketing Specialist
I joined a virtual assistance agency as a content writer, and soon after, I transitioned into a social media VA. This experience became my foundation, where I learned about digital marketing and how to help businesses grow. With each role, I honed my skills and gained insights into what clients need to succeed online.
But my vision expanded beyond supporting clients—I dreamed of creating an agency that would help others facing financial challenges like mine.
2022
Building Dilaab Digitals
In 2022, I took a leap of faith and established Dilaab Digitals with just a few team members. My goal was clear: to create a space where working students and breadwinners could grow, learn, and support their families while delivering exceptional work to our clients.
Dilaab means “flame” in Filipino, and that’s what we bring to every client—passion, dedication, and the drive to make a difference.
2023 - Today
Growing a Team
Our agency grew quickly, expanding from 6 virtual assistants in 2021 to over 70 by 2023. Each team member brings unique skills, resilience, and a shared commitment to creating exceptional results for our clients. We’re proud to work with clients across the globe, from coaches and solopreneurs to businesses ready to scale.
